Off-Grid Personal Weatherstation | Templeton, CA
Intended to support future winery operations at a farm in Templeton, this Dyacon MS-150 Personal Weather Station [PWS] is equipped for remote and completely off-grid operation.
After being powder coated white for increased visibility on an active farm, we installed the armature and tipping rain bucket support onto poured concrete pylons with threaded anchors, and with flexible conduit, under-grounded the communication wire between them. After making the hard connections to the main board, calibrating the wind vane, and performing initial setup over USB, the unit is operated remotely over the cellular network.
